The following are common questions and answers specific to the original Temple Run game.

How can I save my progress?

All game progress for Temple Run saves locally on the device it is being played on at the time. To maintain the game as close to its original development, cloud-saving services like Google Play Games and iCloud are not available in Temple Run as this game pre-dates those services.

How can I restore my old progress in Temple Run?

Since Temple Run does not utilize cloud saving service, game progress data cannot be restored after the app is deleted/reinstalled. Game progress cannot be transferred to another device.

How can I delete my progress to start over?

Since Temple Run does not utilize cloud-saving services, the game progress can/will be reset by deleting and reinstalling the game application on your device. 

How can I buy coin packs from the Store menu?

To make in-game purchases with real money, please ensure that you are signed in to a Google or Apple ID account that has a form of payment saved.

How can I remove Ads from Temple Run?

Effective in v1.17+ of Temple Run, the Ad Removal option is available on the title screen. This will remove the ads that would usually be played at the end of every run session. Please note that the option to voluntarily watch a video ad in order to continue the current run session will still be available.

How can I skip objectives?

Objectives are queued up based on your current level in Temple Run and cannot be skipped.

How can I make real money while playing Temple Run?

Although it would be pretty awesome to earn money while playing your favorite game, Temple Run is not a competitive e-sport or real money-making style of game.

Where can I get a real golden idol?

The real golden idols were manufactured for a press release kit only sent to content creators to help promo a major update for Temple Run 2 a few years ago. Those idols were never mass-produced for retail purposes and are no longer in production.
